Snow Tubing on DPS Day Off!

Have a blast sliding and spinning down Echo Mountain’s snow tubing hill while enjoying incredible mountain views. A covered conveyor lift will bring you to the top of the hill after every run.

Event Schedule:

• 11:15am - SOAR youth and staff meet at Morrison Nature Center
• 11:15am-12:00pm - Breakfast
• 12:00-1:30pm - Bus ride to Echo Mountain
• 1:30-2:00pm - Watch safety video at Echo Mountain
• 2:00-3:00pm - TUBING FUN!
• 3:00-3:45pm – Lunch
• by 5:15pm - Arrive back at Morrison Nature Center
• SOAR staff will transport youth home, as needed.

SOAR & Generation Wild have snow pants, gloves, hats, and sunglasses for youth to borrow.

Consent Forms:

1. Each participant must complete Echo Mountain's Waiver in order to go tubing.
2. Each participant must complete The City of Aurora’s Liability Waiver Form for Recreational Activities if you have not already done so in the past. 
3. Please complete The City of Aurora Media Release Form in order to allow pictures to be published in their monthly newsletter.

DUE TO THE HIGH DEMAND AND LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE, THIS EVENT IS ONLY OPEN TO YOUTH ACTIVELY IN SOAR PROGRAMMING.

Transportation:

Youth and staff will meet at Morrison Nature Center. A bus or van will transport youth and staff from Morrison Nature Center to Echo Mountain and return back to Morrison Nature Center. Those who indicated needing transportation from a SOAR staff will be transported to Morrison Nature Center by 11am and home from Morrison Nature Center by 6:30pm

For those requesting transportation to & from Morrison Nature Center, a SOAR staff will reach out the day prior to confirm the pick-up time. This staff may not be the paired mentor. Please confirm receiving this communication. SOAR will not provide transportation unless the staff that reached out about transportation receives a response.
